Painting at AHHA

Fun things were going on at AHHA (Hardesty Art Center of Tulsa) yesterday. Artist John Hammer who has a studio there, had an afternoon open painting session. There must have been at least 20 enthusiastic painters in an afternoon light filled classroom creating great things.

AHHA has a new well equipped building in the Brady District north of downtown Tulsa. There is always something going on there: shows, classes, etc. Check it out: www.ahhatulsa.org

John Hammer (thehammerstudio.com) was a graphic artist for years before he started painting. All the colors in his paintings just make you happy. See Ringo in the post of September 17, 2014.

John's studio will be part of the OVAC Studio tour on April 11-12.

And you could run into John at Michael's this week picking up his favorite canvases.

Carla at the paint table; the artists had plenty to choose from.
