This is Gizel. She was the tour guide while I was in Cuba. I asked her to put the orchid behind her ear & pose. She reminded me of Frida. So Gizel & I say, "Happy Birthday Frida".

Rainbow Showers

 

The phrase: "April showers bring May flowers" left us wondering. The showers finally arrived in late April & have continued into May. The Price Tower Celebrated with this display of rainbow colored umbrellas.

The Wright Stuff by Alex True

The Price Tower has a new owner. Frank Lloyd Wright's "Tree that escaped the Forest" was saved from being shuttered. The dominating landmark of downtown Bartlesville and art center will survive in a new phase of promoting the arts.

Buying Tires

Interesting images everywhere. I brought my camera so that while I waited for new tires to be installed I could delete unwanted pics. This image caught my eye:  circular shapes on the checkered floor.
