Matisse in his time
at the Oklahoma City Art Museum
Matisse: I love his boldness of colors, patterns & shapes.
But I was disappointed with this show; there wasn't enough Matisse.
Matisse in his time meant Matisse & his friends.
The show would have been better named "Matisse Lite" or "Matisse & his Cronies"
It always surprises me how much they copied each other, oh, excuse me, inspired each other.

Happy Independence Day
This display greeted me as I walked into My Papa's Barn in Broken Arrow on Friday.
It really gets you in the mood for all the Fourth of July fun that we can enjoy today.
