Happy Birthday Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

Andy entered the "Pop Art" scene of the 1960's and made us look at ordinary objects in a new way.

Birdie Made It

 Yes, Birdie at Recycled Hippy Chicks made this slow stitched journal cover. I saw her working on it on her you tube channel, and knew it was just what my latest journal needed.

Front top; back bottom.

My journal is a hard cover journal 71/2" x 9". I machine stitched pockets to each end of the fabric cover so that it could slip onto the hard cover. I added a tie closure made from the binding of a repurposed quilt.

Doesn't it look great; I love it!
