What fun! The Price Tower is having a Kids Art Show. I love to see all the imaginative things that kids come up with. This show had plenty of masks. Of course that made me very happy. And it might even inspire me to make some collage masks on paper.
Checotah Papillion from Jane Phillips Elementary
What a great totem pole. Artist Checotah next to her creation (the mask with the tail, just above her head).
I'm always on the lookout for a hand crafted sign; the more artistic the better. Well this one is hand lettered in chalk & in a prominent place in Ree Drummond's Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. A friend & I went for breakfast, but we forgot it was spring break so we still ended up waiting in line 45 min.
I have two passions in my life: the Word of God and Art. I am basically a self-taught artist, but take every opportunity to learn from others. I love acrylics and usually work in mixed media collage, but my latest experiments are with ceramic masks.
