 All the rain has certainly done wonders for the herbs.

Who is Ivan Chermayeff ?

I would call him "inspired designer". Many international logos that we see everyday are of his design.

But I discovered his collages. They are simple, direct, colorful, & use found objects very creatively. A collection appears in Collages. I found the volume on the bottom shelf at the library & wondered how I had missed it for so long.

Art Journal

I pulled an art journal off the shelf the other day and noticed that it contained unfinished pages. This page has been in my head for a long time & I finally finished it yesterday.

What to do Wednesday

I must consider replacing my camera. My Kodak Easy Share has been a trusted companion for years. I really like that little camera, but...

What to buy? Too many choices.

SLR or point & shoot
Nikon or Canon or other
A kit or body only
Then which lenses
And then the price?????????

One thing I'm sure of, it must be light weight; my time with a big, heavy camera is over.

BART Spring Show

This year the show presented member's work, and included painting, drawing, prints, photographs & textiles. It was good to see such a good assortment of student art.
