Display Cases at the Library

My goal was to show the process: from idea to design to finished mask. I always try to educate.

Ceramic Gourd

The post for November 6th showed the stages of glazing a ceramic gourd.

The type of glaze used required three coats with a brush. Then I used rubber stamps to add the design and then some spots of more color.

This is the finished gourd. 

If I put it outside would a bird be interested in living there?

Red Mask

My masks have come out of the closet, or at least some of them have. They have been in storage for two years and are finally revealed for display. You can find them at the Bartlesville Public Library during the month of February.The red mask above is not mine but it may inspire me to do some masks on paper.
